If Video Games Were Realistic

link banned from pottery shop - for life

The beauty of video games is that they’re not in any way real or realistic. Even games that strive for “realism” are far from it, and in many cases the results that would come from trying to bring some of those video game elements into the real world would yield hilarious results.

For example, the above – in virtually every Legend of Zelda game, there’s money to be had inside of clay pots just about everywhere you go. So what do you do when you walk into a pottery shop that’s full of them? Break ’em all open, of course, and collect all the money inside!

Some other interpretations are equally hilarious, like the Grand Theft Auto spoof that shows your character in a car accident and instead of running away before the car explodes, killing any nearby bystanders, you’re stuck exchanging insurance information. Sadly, the same gags just don’t come across as well in text, so you’ll have to head over to Cracked.com and see the whole thread – complete with attribution for the images.
