Microsoft Releases Internet Explorer 7 Beta 3

Looks like Microsoft is on the public beta bandwagon with everyone else. They’ve released a fresh beta of the upcoming Internet Explorer 7 that will be bundled with Windows Vista when it’s released sometime at the end of this year. (or early next year, whenever) Testing from folks who have downloaded it shows a pretty solid, customizable browser that’s pretty feature complete, loads and renders quickly, and is pretty responsive, although some reports say that Microsoft hasn’t given up the compatibility ghost yet, and that many websites and services don’t render correctly in IE7 or work at all in the new browser.

Some of the new features in Beta 3 and a link to download the beta if you’d like to give it a try are over at Microsoft Watch.
