Install Adblock Plus: Element Hiding Helper 1.0.6 from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4364 I’m assuming you already have ABP, if not then obviously you’ll need it.

Right click on your ABP icon(I keep mine down in the status bar), click ‘Select Element To Hide’ and you’ll see the user interface. Basically you put a box around anything that bothers you(tip: use the ‘W’ and ‘N’ keys to make your selections wider or narrower).

For the YouTube comments, I used the filter rule youtube.com##DIV#watch-comment-panel

You want to make sure the rule isn’t to broad of a rule, or you can disable a whole page! lol It’s easy to undo though Just right click on your ABP icon again, click ‘Preferences’ and your rules (My Element Hiding Rules) will be in blue. Your last rule applied will be the one on the bottom.
